The kitchen is typically usable from about day 2, before a later seal visit. A bathroom floor may be walked on about one more day after grouting; showering typically follows about three days after grouting, once cured. Light foot traffic on set floor areas may be possible after 24 hours. Confirm each return to use with the installer.

How long does a shower take?

Can you tile over the old floor?
Only if the existing surface is sound, compatible and at the right height.
Do I buy the tile or do you?
Either can be discussed. Confirm the tile and quantity before ordering.
What does salt air do to grout?
Grout choice, cleaning and movement details matter. Salt air alone is not a diagnosis.
Do you remove old tile and haul it away?
Removal and debris handling can be included in the written scope.
Do you give written estimates?
Ask for preparation, installation and exclusions to be listed separately.
